SANDERS' SUCCESS WITH "FLAIR IV" AND "PREMIER FLAIR"

Jim Macgregor had another successful spring with his Elan 40 ‘Flair IV’ using Sanders Sails. It began in style at the Parkstone Regatta where Jim with his crew of family and friends finished 1st in Class 1 winning the beautiful and historic ‘Britannia Cup’.

As well as inshore success, Sanders Sails have proved themselves in many offshore races this year. David Cooper with his Dehler 38, ‘Longue Pierre’ has had a stunning year competing in the RORC and JOG offshore series’.

There were two podium places for Sanders Sails at the Hamble Dehler Cup, hosted by the Royal Southern Yacht Club this year. Ian Hayes’  Dehler 36 ‘Eye2Eye’ came out on top of the those battling for the top spots  in the racing division including the new Dehler 44 ‘Eclectric’ shipped over from Holland for the event  and the well known Deliverance.

Rob Packham won his division in the AZAB race, which started from Falmouth on the 28th July and was run by the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club.

 

Rob's 'Star Dancer' a Southerly 110 won the cumulative combined legs of AZAB in Class 3.

Sanders Sails had great success this year at the Dartmouth Regatta where Premier Flair finished 2nd by just a quarter of a point in class one and Sanders Sails were used by all three of the Poole Yacht Club boats who won the Team Prize, and The Royal Dart trophy, ‘Premier Flair’ class 1, ‘Panache’ class 2 and ‘Kudos’ in class 3.
